Our Spotify Wrapped

Our Spotify Wrapped app is a third-party app that can connect to a user's Spotify account. We have added seamless features to elevate user's experience in music listening including accessing music listening tastes, past Spotify wrapped summaries, friends' Spotify wrapped, snippets of songs, and adjusting timespan of Wrapped. Our app is also developer friendly as we use the CI/CD pipelining in git.

Music Taste

Utilized information from the Spotify User that had logged in. It would list the top categories of the Spotify User.

Spotify Wrapped

Illustrates Top Artists, Top Tracks, Top Genres, based on terms within the Summary (Short Term, Medium Term, and Long Term)

Media Player

Our Spotify Wrapped Application plays music while exploring the categories based on the top track of the specific term. The music will play clicking a past summary or creating a new one.

CI/CD pipelining

We utilized CI/CD Pipelining within our Spotify Wrapped Application. CI/CD Pipelining assisted with Development Workflow, Automated Testing, and the Build. It benefitted us through the speed, efficiency, and reliablilty of using CI/CD pipelining.

Cloudbase Storage

We use Firebase realtime database in order to store spotify api tokens and also the past summaries.

Each user has their own node and there are two nodes for each user. One node stores past summaries and the other stores the user data. The user data node stores the api tokens, email, refresh tokens, and also the timestamp when the access token expires.
